Diese Photoserie in 5 Umgebungen ist aus eine intime Zusammenarbeit mit der 70-jährige schwehr-behinderte Frau, Author und Tänzerin Tuuli Helkky Helle entstanden. Die Photos von Tomi Paasonen zeigen den vielfalt der physischen Formen durch die Linse der Behinderung als Teil der Natur der ständig nach leuen Lösungen durch Mutationen sucht. Als Kontrast sieht man einen urbanen Kampf nach Akzeptanz um aufrecht stehen zu können und den konformismus der vermarkten körperwahrnehmung. Im Mittelpunkt steht eine serie, wo inmitten Dunkelheit ihre schwebende Körper, einen einzigartigen Kraft und Charisma ausstrahlt. Die Aussstellung ist bereits mehrfach in Finland, San Francisco, und in Berlin ausgestellt worden.

This photo series in 5 environments is an intimate collaboration with the over 70-year old disabled woman, author and dancer Tuuli Helkky Helle. The images show the abundance of physical forms through the lens of disability as part of nature’s process to find new solutions through mutations. As a contrast we see the urban struggle to stay upright in the conformism of the marketed perception of the body. In the central piece the radiating body of Tuuli is set free of any context, letting her expressive charisma come into focus. The exhibition has been shown around Finland, in San Francisco and Berlin.
